Job description
We're increasing both the quality and volume of fashion items and avatar assets we ship. To support that, we need a top-tier Concept Artist who can own the early stage of the pipeline by setting creative direction through concept art that's stylish, fresh, and player-resonant. You'll be one of the driving forces behind our content pipeline. You'll work closely with our Creative Director and Producer to keep both speed and quality high. If you're a stylish, fast-moving creator with a great eye and strong ownership mentality, this role is for you. How This Role Works If selected, you will start on a 1-month, full-time contract, fully paid. This gives both you and our team the chance to assess mutual fit in a real working environment. At the end of the month, we will review your performance and contribution. If there's a strong match, we will move forward with a full-time employment offer. What You'll Do Design fashion-forward clothing, characters, accessories, and props that resonate with our community Deliver high-quality sketches, renders, moodboards, and visual references at a fast pace Collaborate tightly with the Creative Director and Producer to align vision, scope, and deadlines Push visual boundaries while aligning with Highrise's aesthetic and gameplay needs Iterate quickly based on feedback from the team and player sentiment Help evolve and raise the bar on our internal concept art standards Occasionally partner with external artists or studios to maintain creative consistency and throughput
Requirements
5+ years of concept art experience, ideally on live games or fast-paced creative pipelines A portfolio that demonstrates strong artistic fundamentals, high taste level, and clear appeal to a fashion-conscious audience (especially female) Experience designing assets for mobile-first or stylized platforms, not just AAA fantasy or realism Deep comfort with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Clip Studio Paint or Procreate, and willingness to adapt fast Strong visual storytelling and design sensibility; you know what looks good and why Fast iteration cycles and comfort in high-output, high-feedback environments Clear communication and proactive ownership; no one needs to chase you down Bonus Points For Comfort experimenting with and integrating emerging creative tools and technologies, including AI assisted workflows Fashion industry knowledge or experience Background in marketing art or UI/UX design Animation or motion graphics skills (After Effects)
