A leading DevSecOps platform in Spain is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer focused on Environment Automation. In this role, you will contribute to the reliability and scalability of GitLab environments, collaborating to reduce manual work through automation. You will leverage tools like Terraform and Kubernetes, working in a distributed team to enhance operational efficiency. Candidates should have solid experience in SRE practices, Golang, and infrastructure automation. This role offers the chance to impact how organizations deliver software securely and efficiently., * Automate operational tasks across GitLab environments.
- Build and refine observability stack for environments.
- Respond to platform alerts and incidents.
- Support planning of infrastructure changes and service rollouts.
- Develop scripts and automation tools for managing environments.
- Implement best practices for running GitLab on Kubernetes.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production environments.
- Document operational tasks and lessons learned.
Requirements
- Experience automating the lifecycle of many environments.
- Hands-on experience with backend programming languages like Golang.
- Experience running Kubernetes-based workloads in production.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and management tools.
- Solid understanding of Git-based workflows and practices.
- Experience in cloud-based production environments.
- Focus on automation and documentation.
