This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and strategically minded implementation specialist with an immediate focus on SAP transition to support the commercial and supply chain functions within a defence environment. This role is critical in leading the implementation of SAP S4HANA/GTS for the Commercial and Supply chain functions and wider initiatives as they develop, ensuring process efficiency, compliance with customer and company requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional and global teams, must be a good communicator, capable of solving problems and overcome challenges., * undefined
- Be the lead for the implementation of S4HANA/GTS and boundary systems for the UK Commercial, Subcontract and Supply chain functions.
- Lead, Facilitate and support S4HANA/GTS project workshops (travel to different sites across UK will be required).
- Ensure the wider S4HANA/GTS and boundary systems strategy aligns with the requirements of the Commercial and Supply Chain stakeholders.
- Support the testing of S4HANA/GTS functionality throughout the project life cycle.
- Provide expertise and support on ad-hoc data analysis and data cleansing requirements.
- Deliver and coordinate S4HANA/GTS training and coaching to the wider Commercial, Subcontract and supply chain teams as required.
- Seek out ways that our systems could be utilised to improve our current ways of working.
- Act as a point of contact for data analytical queries from commercial and operational teams.
- Additional tasking as required, including ensuring data readiness
Requirements
Do you have experience in Supply chain?, * Experience in Commercial, Subcontract or Supply Chain within a defence industry.
- Expertise in SAP ERP/ECC (preferably S4HANA).
- Programme and project management (Risk Management/Programme Gating/ Metrics).
- Analytical skills and proficiency in data tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Understanding of data architecture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Financial Acumen; working knowledge of programme and business financial management.
- Experience of working collaboratively across departments and with external suppliers.
- Expert in managing multiple priorities in a high-stakes, regulated environment.
- Proven experience of problem-solving, continuous improvement and digital transformation.
Desirable
- Experience in dataset development and management.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, APM, Prince2).
- Familiarity with export control regulations and international trade compliance.
- Six sigma or other recognised continuous improvement experience.
- Experience with contract management systems (e.g. Agiloft CMS, Icertis, SAP Ariba).
- Experience of Customer/Supplier Relationship Management.
- Experience of automation systems (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps).
