Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Python and at least one compiled language such as C, C++, Rust, or C#; ideally also CUDA
  • Practical experience developing and deploying detection algorithms, ideally on radar or time-series data
  • Solid algorithmic understanding of modern detection, machine-learning, and deep-learning methods (e.g., DNNs, CNNs)
  • Familiarity with common software engineering practices (version control, testing)
  • Enjoyment of challenges like limited computational resources or energy-efficient processing on edge devices
  • Team spirit, structured working style, and the ability to keep an overview-even across multiple projects
  • Enthusiasm for mountains and alpine processes
  • A reliable, pragmatic personality with a hands-on mentality
