Your role at Weeztix
You won't just be maintaining; you'll be building the foundation. You will have a direct impact on a system that handles massive peaks in traffic.
- Build & Test: Delivering working, tested features that impact millions of users.
- Architect: Building out Weeztix's foundation and optimizing the system for scalability.
- Collaborate: Daily consultation with the development team in Eindhoven.
- The Stack: Working with a modern toolkit including Jira, Git, Nginx, Elasticsearch, SQL, Redis, Beanstalk, Nats, Golang, PHP, Zabbix, Graylog, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Laravel, Vue, among others
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar position, with a focus on building large modular codebases.
- Tech Savvy: Expert knowledge of API's, PHP (7.3) and Laravel (6). Experience with (or a strong interest in) Golang, containerization and container composition
- Mindset: Independent, driven, and an unstoppable eagerness to learn. You feel at home in a close team where you are given a lot of responsibility.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication in Dutch or English (Business English C1 level).
- Location: You live in or are willing to relocate to the Eindhoven area (The Netherlands).
