Job description

The FX STP Solutions team is seeking a Solutions Specialist with technical and financial industry experience to assist with FXall STP and API Projects for the Buyside/Sell side community. The team works with Sales, Relationship Managers, Product, and Technology teams to provide the best solutions to clients. The team assists in pre-sales and post sale technical conversations with global prospects. The team develops custom solutions (translators) to accommodate customer requirements with the available APIs using a Java Groovy framework. They also maintain standard translations to accommodate new platform offering. The Solutions Specialist will lead the clients' technical integration into the FXall system. This role reports into the Senior Manager, FX STP Solutions. The team is located in London, New York, and Singapore. Key Responsibilities

  • Working with Sales team and customers to define and understand the client's environment and onboarding requirements.
  • Lead technical integration to the platform
  • Develop custom configurations via Java Groovy scripting as needed
  • Provide expertise to the diagnosis of technical connection problems via FIX protocol
  • Manage up to 10 client implementations at one time.
  • Provide assistance in conformance testing
  • Build positive relationships with key clients and vendors
  • Attend and arrange customer meetings both in person and virtual
  • Work as part of the FX Integration team providing assistance to others in the team as needed regardless of the region.
  • Work closely with relationship management team and sales to meet customer needs
  • Work with clients using a consultancy approach

Requirements

Do you have experience in UNIX?, * Qualification in a relevant IT, business, or engineering subject

  • Client onboarding of trading applications- supervision, coordination of implementation, capturing requirements for customization, understanding application interfaces (API's)
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Integrating into FX/Multi Asset OMS and TMS solutions
  • Experience being part of project teams for large scale migration projects
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Must be a confident teammate with good interpersonal skills and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Worked in professional and customer centric environments where detailed process/procedures are followed
  • Comfortable working with deadlines and under pressure
  • Technical Documentation
  • Self-motivated to identify solutions to automate time consuming manual process

Technical skills

  • Java or another programming language (C++,Python)
  • GIT (Version Control)
  • FIX Protocol (4.4 and 5)
  • SQL (writing SQL queries etc)
  • Unix (bash shell script writing and testing)
  • Networking
  • Confluence
  • Technical ability to build new tool sets for automation and monitoring using Web Technology
