Job description
Preqin (part of BlackRock) is looking for a skilledFull Stack Developer (Associate)to join ourLondon Engineering Team. In this role,you'llhelp design, build, and run products acrossPreqin andeFront, supporting applications used by clients globally.
You'llcollaborate with a high-performing, international team and work across both the technical and functional layers of the product in a fast-growingPrivate Marketsenvironment.You'llcontribute to delivering scalable, cloud-first solutions using modern engineering practices and technologies including.NET, Azure, and modern web frameworks.Python,AWSand Snowflakeexperience are a plus.

Responsibilities

Build new features end-to-end, from concept through production deployment

Take ownership of parts of a SaaS product, including production monitoring and incident resolution in the cloud

Apply information security practices throughout design and delivery

Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering ways of working (CI/CD, automated testing, best practices)
Requirements
-
Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Organizational Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

2-5 years of experiencein backend development (.NET) and frontend development with modern frameworks (React/TypeScript)

Strong understanding of OOP concepts and engineering best practices

Experience building and consuming APIs usinggRPCand/or REST

Understanding ofmicroservices architectureand development

Understanding ofcontainerisationand deploying cloud-native applications

Fluent English (written and spoken)

Ability to navigate and understand an existing codebase

Interest in the functional side of the product; finance industry knowledge is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive and able to handle multiple workstreams
