Senior Backend Engineer (Java) - Remote Work

• Build and maintain backend services in Java for a high-throughput distributed data platform.
• Develop concurrent, resilient code that handles real-time data flow reliably at scale.
• Work on data ingestion, stream processing, or pipeline components that move data across systems.
• Debug and resolve complex issues in distributed backend components under production load.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver backend features that meet platform requirements.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing practices, and the overall quality of the backend codebase.

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who writes Java and has built systems that deal with continuous data movement at scale. You have a solid grasp of distributed systems, you're comfortable reasoning about concurrency, and you've worked on backends where data flow and throughput are central concerns. You'll be contributing to a platform that thousands of organizations depend on to move and manage their most critical data - reliable, performant backend work with a genuinely broad reach., * 5+ years of experience in IT roles.

• 3+ years of experience building backend systems with Java as the primary language.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems and how they behave at scale.
• Depth in concurrent programming and multi-threaded system design.
• Background in data flow, streaming, or pipeline-oriented backend development.
• Open source contribution experience is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
