Design Engineer

ü Development and design of new and existing products related to plastic and metal assemblies, such as power management and power distribution units

ü Handling projects within the project team to ensure a smooth transfer from design via industrialization to production

ü Exchange with Sumitomo companies, suppliers and customers

ü Create presentation materials for design concepts and technical solutions

ü Develop product related requirements and specifications, prepare product associated documentation

ü Product testing and validation activities

Do you have experience in Product development?, ü Advanced technical or engineering education (technician, engineer) in mechanical, electrical, plastics or comparable is preferred

ü 3+ years professional experience in the automotive industry, ideally in the field of electro-mechanics

ü Design for injection moulding processing, sheet metal stamping, and assembly processing

ü Methodology of product development

ü Proven knowledge of CATIA V5 and MS Office

ü Automotive standards IATF, ISO

ü Fluent English and German skills are mandatory
