At Nedap Retail, you will work on digital products that are used worldwide by retailers and brands such as Hugo Boss, lululemon, G-Star RAW, Under Armour and River Island. If you would like to help create user-friendly designs for a wide range of digital products, then this vacancy for a UX Designer is perfect for you! Shop assistants spend a lot of time every day searching for items and managing stock. With iD Cloud and our RFID technology, we provide real-time insight into stock and shop processes. This allows employees to focus on what really matters: helping customers and creating a strong shopping experience. Nedap Retail is growing rapidly and revolutionising the retail world with iD Cloud. You will work on innovative software, such as apps that enable retailers to perform stock counts at lightning speed using RFID. From initial exploration to the final design, your work will have a direct impact on the look, feel and usability of our products. Throughout the design process, you, as a UX Designer , will represent the end user. This is a friendly group of colleagues with different backgrounds, ranging from development to design. The UX team consists of a UX Designer and a UX Researcher. Requirements
As a UX Designer , you can switch gears quickly and maintain a good overview, even when working on multiple topics at the same time. You don't wait for an assignment, but seek out needs or questions yourself. You are not a specialist who stays in a small corner, but someone who enjoys applying your UX expertise broadly. You communicate easily with different disciplines and with international clients, taking the initiative by actively seeking out the right questions. You also get energy from working closely with practitioners and enjoy conducting store research with clients in Europe and the US several times a year. In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:
- Work experience: At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a UX Designer.
- Insight-to-interface: Experience in translating insights into user-friendly interface design.
- Prototyping tools: Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite or similar.
- Nice to have: Experience with or interest in design systems is an advantage.
- Language skills: You speak excellent Dutch and English. Proficiency in writing Dutch is less important.
