As a Senior Platform Engineer you'll be at the forefront of transforming airports into seamless, tech-driven hubs. How exactly you accomplish this? That's up to you. We trust in the way you want to improve every day. You put your talents to work at:
- Ensuring the reliability and scalability of our integration platforms, crucial for airport functionality.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing integration processes to boost efficiency and performance in airport technology.
- Leveraging your Java expertise, contributing to the technological evolution of airport operations.
- Collaborating with other technology and business to maintain, design and develop integration solutions that drive efficiency.
The Core Integration Platform team provides an always-on Airport Service Bus (ASB) & Managed File Transfer. ASB guarantees delivery of messages from 100s of parties across the aviation sector & is a dedicated platform for implementing information exchange based on Enterprise Service Bus tech. All major IT systems supporting the main business processes exchange information via the ASB to internal IT systems and IT systems of sector partners like KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Air Traffic Control.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience with the following subjects:
- Designing and implementing system-to-system java integrations. Pre: experience with Quarkus and/or experience with Apache Camel
- Experience with unit-testing and integration-testing. Pre: experience with Cucumber and/or experience with test-containers
- Messaging systems like Artemis and Kafka
- Container technology with Docker and OpenShift
- Continuous Integration with either Azure Pipelines or Github actions. Pre: experience with Ansible and/or experience with ArgoCD
- Linux: Pre: experience with RHEL
- Networking: Pre: experience with Nginx and/or experience with Kong API Gateway
- Monitoring and Observability: Pre: Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Observability Cloud
- No objection to participate in a 24x7 schedule for supporting the platform you're working on
Benefits & conditions
- € 4.851,60 - € 6.754,80 per month (Scale 11).
- Participation in the ABP pension fund.
- The possibility to work 4 x 9 hours in a 36-hour work week.
