Job description
As a Senior Fullstack/Frontend Engineer in our growing composable front-end team, you'll be working on the new HEMA website, built in a modern storefront using Next.js. Here, you work side by side with HEMA developers and developers from our partners. Additionally, you have close contact with Product Owners, Business Owners, IT Analysts, and colleagues from the domain teams. However, your role goes beyond just programming; you help HEMA grow as a tech organization and enable the strategic road map. You collaborate with colleagues from other domains to deliver seamless connected solutions. You will work on challenging projects as well as contribute to building the future-proof website of HEMA. Think of a MACH architecture, a new CMS to implement (Sanity), continuously improve the use of our commerce tool and improve our infrastructure for internal search. We use modern technologies such as Apache Kafka and KONG as an API management platform. AWS serverless components, Next,js. React and Typescript are currently our weapons of choice. Expertise in a Service-oriented, API first, and headless tech-stack is the norm. Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * Experience in building and developing software in multidisciplinary teams, you see software development as a collaborative endeavor;
- Pro-activity, collaborative decision-making and accountability are important team values, you have examples on how you apply these values
- You are able to speak up. Ask and give feedback, not only on code but also on behavior You are familiar with our tech stack: Typescript, React, Next.js, and favor learning new technologies;
- Experience with AWS services and AWS CDK or similar infrastructure-as-code tools;
- You work result- and quality-oriented, always with the customer at the center;
- Innovation in your field of work and curiosity towards new solutions;
- A good understanding of security threads (e.g. OWASP Top10) and coding practices;
- Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Sanity is a plus);
- Are you a senior developer? Then we expect you to take the lead in the team, have a good sense of Solution Architecture, a strong focus on quality, can effectively structure applications, and maintain an overview of projects.
