Job description

As a Software Engineer within the Software Engineering & Data Team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing internal business systems to maximise profitability and operational efficiency., * Assist with the development and maintenance of several internal systems.

  • Assist with the development of new systems to meet the requirements of the Companys objectives

  • Carry out tasks as part of a project team or on an individual basis.

  • Quickly develop a strong operational knowledge of the Company and be able to effectively communicate with staff at all levels.

  • Provide cover as a technical resource and can help and train end users.

  • Provides a high level of customer service both internal and external

  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably required to ensure the successful operation of the market area

  • Identify training and development needs for self as part of the performance management process

  • Build good relationships with manufacturers, professional bodies, suppliers and statutory representatives

Requirements

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * At least 5 years relevant commercial experience

  • Have extensive experience across the following development areas:
  • .NET C#
  • Modern web technologies
  • SQL Databases
  • Experience with the following technologies is desirable
  • Python
  • Terraform / Infrastructure as code
  • Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Be a logical thinker and problem solver.
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Be highly numerate and able to manipulate raw data.
  • Any knowledge of Autoline (Dealer Management System) would be an advantage, as would any other experience of working in the Motor Industry.
