Job description
As a Junior Product Owner, you'll work closely with senior product owners and collaborate across engineering, solutions consulting, support, sales and marketing teams. You'll help curate and maintain the product backlog, ensuring user stories and acceptance criteria are clear, structured and ready for engineering refinement. This includes wireframing, workflow modelling and prototype creation to articulate requirements and validate understanding with internal teams and customers. You'll gain exposure to aviation workflows, SaaS product behaviour, UI/UX principles and Agile delivery practices, developing the skills needed to grow into a fully autonomous Product Owner. This role blends analytical thinking, communication skills and a passion for building great products.
/ Primary Responsibilities include
- Represent the customer and translate their needs for the engineering teams.
- Create and refine Epics, Features and User Stories aligned to customer outcomes.
- Help maintain a prioritised product backlog, balancing customer impact, dependencies and business value.
- Produce wireframes and workflow models using Sketch.
- Take part in pre-refinement and refinement sessions with engineering teams.
- Support the creation of release notes and documentation for new features.
- Assist release management by reviewing qualitative testing evidence against acceptance criteria.
- Work with Solutions Consultants to understand onboarding requirements and customer workflows.
- Partner with Support Engineers to identify recurring issues, feature requests and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare materials for marketing, customer success and sales teams.
- Assist in hosting customer workshops, demos and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Wireframing?, * Experience working with software products or cloud-based systems in any capacity (support, onboarding, QA, analysis, customer-facing roles).

Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into clear, structured information.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience explaining system behaviour to technical and non-technical audiences.

Understanding of how UI behaviour maps to backend processes.

Ability to document requirements clearly and break down complex workflows.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.

Collaborative, customer-focused and eager to learn.

Desirable

Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Experience with SaaS platforms requiring configuration or tailored solutions.

Familiarity with wireframing or prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, InVision).

Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools.

Basic understanding of business processes and workflow logic.
