Job description
- Coach developers on different aspects like choosing the right library/platform, modern web frameworks, development best practices, Refactoring, Unit Testing.
- Emphasize communication and collaboration between software development teams and functional consultants who are doing implementation projects.
- Improve and automate the software delivery process.
- Participate in elaboration of the solution architecture vision & roadmap.
- Taking a vision on the future developments of our product by aligning functional needs. with platform enhancements and taking into account other requirements such as security.
- Setting up a way of working in DevOps to structure development and to enable quality of work.
- Documentation of architecture using the help of our technical writer.
- Deliver support to the teams regarding software development best practices like CI, refactoring & unit testing, setup of code analysis.
Requirements
- You have an engineering or master's degree in information technology, or relevant experience.
- You have proven experience in application development as an architect. Experience with MES or MOM systems is a bonus.
- Senior level C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core knowledge (5 years+).
- Mid-level experience of SQL Server and any ORM Framework.
- Basic knowledge of WPF.
- Experience with the following technologies is a plus: WCF, ASP.NET MVC, Blazor.
- You have excellent communication and leadership skills, enabling our customer intimate culture.
- You can build bridges, not only in your team but also in relation to the functional consultants doing implementation projects at customers
- Hands-on and team player mentality with knowledge of teamwork tools and principles such as Git, pull-requests, code review, CI/CD
