Job description
As part of the Cabin and Cargo Test Center, we develop, install, and commission innovative, state-of-the-art test benches and simulation systems for the next generation of Airbus aircraft. We also maintain and enhance existing test systems and participate in research projects exploring new testing methodologies. Our laboratory test facilities range from classic physical HIL platforms to increasingly virtual and cloud-based systems. The aircraft systems we support encompass everything from electronic avionics to hydro-mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or a comparable field of study.
- Minimum 5 years of development experience with programming languages such as Python, C, and C++.
- Comprehensive expertise in agile software development, CI/CD, and DevOps tools (e.g., Github/Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker).
- Excellent analytical skills, a structured way of working, and strong teamwork ability.
- Willingness to take on requirements and a high eagerness to learn new specialist areas (aircraft systems, industry standards).
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken. Good German skills are an advantage.
- Advantageous: Experience with system and virtual tests as well as basic knowledge of aircraft systems/avionics bus systems.
- Desired: Experience in software development for real-time operating systems and knowledge of system modeling.
