Job description
- Perform hands-on system-level verification and validation testing for complex medical devices integrating software, electronics, mechanics, optics, navigation, and robotics
- Execute system integration tests and validation activities, ensuring correct interaction of hardware and software components
- Prepare, execute, and document system test protocols, test reports, and traceability evidence
- Set up, maintain, and improve system test environments, including device setups, phantoms, calibration tools, and test fixtures
- Investigate system behavior and analyze test results, anomalies, and defects
- Contribute to verification of risk control measures and system requirements
- Maintain a broad system understanding to test realistic clinical workflows and device usage scenarios
- Work closely with Systems Engineering, Software, Hardware, and Manufacturing to ensure reliable and reproducible testing
Requirements
Do you have experience in Computer hardware?, * Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience in system testing or verification of complex technical products, preferably in a regulated environment
- Practical experience with hands-on testing of integrated hardware/software systems
- Good technical understanding across multiple domains (software, electronics, mechanics)
- Structured and precise working style with strong documentation discipline
- Experience with regulated development environments (e.g. ISO 13485, IEC 62304, MDR) is an advantage, * A hands-on engineer who enjoys working directly with real systems and devices
- Structured and reliable with strong attention to detail
- Able to maintain a system-level perspective while performing detailed testing
- A highly analytical and independent personality who develops effective as well as practical solutions and strategies.
- Team-oriented person and possess strong communication skills that enable you to work with cross-functional teams
- Open, flexible and highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment
