Job description
More than half of our patients are still actively in therapy after 3 months. This is exceptional for any consumer-facing app, and driven by two things: the genuine suffering these conditions cause, and the fact that a doctor prescribed this. Patientscome in motivated. But we know we have real gaps. Parts of our apps need to be rebuilt from scratch, the user experiencehas room to grow significantly, and we believe that great product work can push real-world outcomes well beyond whatour clinical studies already proved. This role exists to make that happen.
What you'll be walking into:
- Real patients, real outcomes: We have thousands of patients actively completing therapy, and the medical outcome data to prove it works.
- A clear ceiling to break: More than half of our patients complete the full therapy - but weknow engagement and retention can go much further, and closing that gap is yours to own.
- AI as a real lever: You won't be prototyping AI features. You'll ship them to patients thisyear.
- Clinically proven, insurer-backed: Built by urologists, validated in studies, reimbursed byGerman health insurers, we've cleared the bar most digital health companies never reach.
What you`ll do
- Mobile ownership: Mictera, Lutera, Edera: Three apps, three patient populations, one PM who owns them all end-to-end.
- App Store excellence: You own ASO, ratings, and store presence across all three apps, knowing that for many patients, searching the App Store is the first time they dare to addresstheir condition.
- Journey thinking: The journey from "my doctor prescribed this app" to "I completed mytherapy" is full of drop-off moments. You obsess over every single one, from prescription toonboarding to active therapy to long-term retention.
- Behavior & retention: You apply habit loops, nudges, feedback systems, and engagementmechanics not to spike interaction, but to keep a patient coming back for day 47 of theirtherapy.
- Data & experimentation: You don't have an opinion on what drives retention in Edera oradherence in Mictera -> you have a hypothesis, a metric, and a test.
- AI product leadership: You will ship our first AI-powered features this year and you have thejudgment to know which AI ideas are genuinely useful to a patient and which are just impressive demos.
Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS?, Mobile depth: Hands-on experience in a small consumer mobile apps product team with high number of users (ideally 1M+ users).
- Store mastery: Deep knowledge of the Apple App Store and Google Play ecosystems, including ASO and review management.
- Platform fluency: You understand the technical realities of iOS and Android and know how towork with them, not around them.
- Health or behavior background: Experience building patient-centric or behavior-change products or a genuine passion for it.
- AI product sense: First hands-on experience shipping AI-powered features.
- Drive: You naturally push topics forward, bring people along, and don't wait to be asked.
- Tools: Figma, Lovable, Replit, Claude Code, Jira... we are tool-agnostic but AI-first
- Languages: Fluent in German and English.
- User research as a reflex: Spinning up an AI prototype, putting it in front of a patient, and coming back with insights: That's not a process for you, it's just a Tuesday morning. You don'tneed a research sprint or a UX designer to test something. Lightweight, continuous, and thefoundation of everything you build.
