Your work
As a System Engineer, you are responsible for the overall system architecture and integration of IQIP's heavy installation equipment. You translate client and project requirements into clear system specifications and ensure alignment between mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control disciplines.
You safeguard system performance, reliability and compliance throughout the full lifecycle-from concept development and detailed engineering to testing, commissioning and optimisation. Acting as the technical integrator, you create robust and future-proof solutions that perform in demanding offshore and onshore environments.
Your responsibilities
- Define system requirements and develop detailed specifications for complex, integrated equipment
- Design and manage system architectures across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control domains
- Oversee the full system lifecycle from concept and design to implementation, testing and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements and client specifications
- Coordinate technical interfaces between internal departments, suppliers and external stakeholders
- Support system integration, validation, troubleshooting and on-site commissioning
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies within technical scope
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation by applying the latest technologies and methodologies
Requirements
Do you have experience in Communication skills?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in system design and integration, preferably within maritime, offshore or heavy equipment industries
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary systems, including mechanical, electrical and control components
- Knowledge of system modelling, simulation tools and lifecycle management practices
- Experience with engineering tools such as Teamcenter, Solid Edge and EPLAN P8
- Analytical and structured approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage complex technical challenges within project environments
- Proactive team player with strong communication skills in an international setting
