Job description
- Translate complexity into simplicity. Our users face billions of signals. Your challenge is to architect and build a highly performant, intuitive, and data-rich user interface using React and TypeScript that makes exploring this data feel effortless and insightful, not overwhelming.
- Build a scalable and resilient frontend architecture. As we add more powerful features, you will co-own the component design, state management, and overall structure of the frontend. How do we build for speed and ensure our UI remains fast and performant, even with huge datasets? You'll be at the heart of these critical decisions.
- Champion the user experience. You will work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to define not just how the product looks, but how it feels. You'll be the advocate for the user, ensuring every interaction is purposeful. This is where we need you to be a Product Engineer, not just a software developer!
What Success Looks Like (and How You'll Get There):
- Within 1 week, you'll have shipped your first piece of production code.
- Within 3 months, you'll have shipped significant, user-facing features, directly improving how our customers visualize their data and diagnose issues.
- Within 6 months, you'll be a go-to expert for our frontend architecture, mentoring other engineers, and driving best practices with Tailwind CSS and our testing frameworks. You'll be working alongside some very talented engineers who are eager to collaborate and learn with you.
- Within 12 months, you'll have played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of the Dash0 UI, helping us build a product that is powerful and a joy to use.

- Is passionate about observability and making developers' lives easier.
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where you can make a huge impact.
