Data Engineer - Azure

You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Microsoft Azure

• Work with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure SQL
• Implement ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data
• Optimize data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues
• Implement security best practices in cloud environments

• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
• Strong SQL and database design knowledge
• Experience in Python / PySpark
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps

Skills for Freshers

• Good understanding of Azure cloud fundamentals
• Knowledge of SQL and Python
• Basic understanding of ETL concepts
• Azure certifications (AZ-900, DP-203) preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Azure certifications are a plus
• Strong communication skills
• UK work authorization (or eligible to work in the UK)
