Job description

Named Later is working with a thriving Lancashire technology organisation to help find a DevOps Engineer to join their team. The business has invested heavily in the core infrastructure powering modern AI workloads. They own and operate millions of pounds worth of HPC GPUs, and they need someone who can build it, fix it, and keep it running., You'll get to put your Linux skills to proper use across Ubuntu environments supporting high-end NVIDIA multi-GPU servers. From the physical building and maintenance of these servers through to managing their deployment and on-going performance, you'll have responsibility for the delivery of a world class service. You'll be managing instances through Docker & Kubernetes, with encouragement to research and implement additional tooling over time.

You'll have real autonomy, direct input into how things are done, and access to cutting-edge hardware on a daily basis. They want to hear your quirky ideas and would love to speak to candidates who are keen to explore generative AI tooling and agents in their day-to-day work.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Ubuntu?, Someone with proven experience who's comfortable across system administration, automation and networking. You're comfortable in a server room and curious about new and emerging tools. You're looking for a role where you can bring ideas to the table and provide great customer experiences. This is an on-site role with occasional travel to client sites, and as such a driving licence is essential.
