Job description

  • Order Management and Processing
  • Order processing, packing and shipping
  • Customs clearance administration
  • Stock Control and Inventory management
  • Procurement/Purchasing of goods/equipment and services as needed for the Eluceda team.
  • Liaising with production team to ensure orders are delivered in line with customer expectations
  • Communicating with materials suppliers and vendors.
  • Customer Support
  • Interacting with clients either on the phone or in person.
  • Initial handling of queries from customers
  • Assisting with minor technical support.
  • Providing office support including customer and employee support.
  • Administration
  • Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity.
  • Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
  • Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Keeping computer databases up to date.
  • Creation of Purchase Orders and Invoices.
  • Other Administrative tasks as may be required

Requirements

Do you have experience in Phone etiquette?, The applicant should be an excellent communicator, enthusiastic, highly organised, literate and numerate with good attention to detail. The successful candidate needs to be confident and able to prioritise workload and operate on their own initiative. Since Eluceda is a small, busy company, you will need to be able to cope with minimum day to day direction and be able to recognise the needs of the company without being explicitly told to enable the teams around you to work as efficiently as possible. It would be beneficial if the applicant had experience of self-management and relevant job duties. Flexible working is also available on this job., * A good level of IT skills especially Microsoft office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Publisher). Experience with Microsoft Teams and Xero (or similar) would also be beneficial.

  • 5+ GCSEs at A*- C or equivalent (including Maths, English Language, and a Science) and a minimum of two A Levels (or equivalent qualification/experience).
  • A flexible approach to work with an appetite to learn new skills.
  • The ability to assist other parts of the business as required even if outside of the job roles remit.
  • Confidence to communicate with directors, colleagues and customers., * Strong organisational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to supervise and provide guidance to a team
  • Understanding of human resources processes and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping and data entry
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise in daily operations

Experience in shipping and customs clearance would be an advantage
