Do you have experience in TCP?, Do you have a Master's degree?, We are looking for someone with the flexibility to work on both short- and longer-term research projects, aligned with the activities of the Daedalus EuroHPC system at GRNet, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve project outcomes. You should be enthusiastic to learn new technologies and able to communicate what you have learned to others., * Development experience in compiled languages such as C, C++ or Fortran and experience with interpreted environments such as Python.
- At least a B.Sc. equivalent in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematical discipline.
- Parallel programming experience, with programming models such as OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, OpenACC, HIP, PGAS languages, etc.
- An understanding of AI/ML frameworks; experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is highly desirable.
- An interest in system- and data center monitoring and operational data analysis.

- Experience in one or more domain specific software ecosystems (e.g. weather and climate, computational fluid dynamics, AI, data science).
- Experience working on EU projects.
- Experience working on HPC applications and/or Cloud applications.
- Experience working with research consortia.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- A plus would be language skills in Greek, German, French or Italian
You will be integrated in the Advanced Collaboration Center activities of GRNet's "Daedalus" supercomputer, focusing on optimization of workloads and enabling better sustainability for the most-used applications, in particular regarding GPU usage and large-scale AI. Further effort will go towards helping applications target next-generation platforms, support convergence with AI and data-science, collaboration with the European research community, and fostering collaboration with other large-scale HPE sites in EMEA, and other EuroHPC systems.
You will also have the chance to spend time working with our team in other projects on topics suited to your interests and skillset, which may include subjects like data centric application coupling, secure HPC, monitoring and operational data analytics, mathematical optimisation, containers, high performance AI solutions, compilers, or application optimisation.
