Rocal Group are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for a motivated Software Developer to join our manufacturing business in Brigg.
Working closely with the Business Systems Manager and management team, you will optimise existing software systems and identify opportunities to develop, test and implement new software solutions.
This position is based within our Business Systems team at our Group Head Office in Brigg, North Lincolnshire., * Software Development on internal systems (ERP, MES, CRM etc), including system design, coding and programming and software testing.
- Work with relevant personnel to understand user requirements and draw up specifications/requirements for additional functionality within our existing systems and new applications / systems as required.
- Write and maintain necessary documentation to ensure portability of code between developers as and when the team of developers increases.
- Maintain a project list for active and planned projects detailing key milestones and tracking progress.
- Focus on information security and security controls that can be used to mitigate security threats.
- Work with the Business Systems Manager and Operations Director to develop the Group's IT Strategy.
Requirements
Do you have experience in jQuery?, * Self-motivation and confidence in communicating internally and externally.
- A knack for explaining complex operations to non-technical colleagues, as well as holding technical discussions with experts.
- Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders and hold good commercial awareness.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to continuously develop own skills and knowledge.
- You will be professionally qualified in your field (or hold similar experience), and will be a Full Stack or Front-End developer, and will have a good understanding of C#, ASP Net core, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, SQL Server Admin.
- Knowledge of Python, BootStrap, JQuery, React, Node, Angular, or WPF with C# would be beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team., * Are you based in North Lincolnshire or surrounding areas, and able to commute to Brigg for this role?
- Do you have working knowledge and experience of C#?
