DMZ Security Network Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network & Security Engineer to join our global IT infrastructure team. This role combines strategic network security management with hands-on operational excellence, requiring a professional who can design, implement, and maintain secure, high-availability network infrastructure across our worldwide operations. The ideal candidate will serve as a key technical expert, ensuring both the performance and security of our enterprise network while responding to critical incidents and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Network Security & Protection

• Develop, implement, and manage innovative security solutions to protect global IT systems, including DMZ infrastructure, security policies, and cloud environments.
• Proactively monitor, analyze, and resolve security incidents; identify and remediate vulnerabilities to maintain compliance with security standards.
• Support security audits and penetration tests; document and implement measures to enhance overall security posture. Network Operations & Infrastructure Management
• Collaborate with global network teams to ensure high availability and optimal performance of critical infrastructure (switching, routing, WLAN, security, cloud).
• Design, implement, and operate complex voice/data networks and new technologies that meet evolving business requirements.
• Monitor network performance continuously; maintain configuration conformity and consistency across the global environment. Incident Response & Support
• Participate in rotational on-call service to respond rapidly to security-relevant and critical network incidents.
• Act as first responder for emergencies; troubleshoot complex technical issues affecting network performance, security, or availability.
• Develop, test, and maintain emergency and disaster recovery plans. Collaboration & Documentation
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to provide network and security expertise for strategic initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Ensure consistent execution of security policies across all departments and locations. Required Qualifications: Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Communications Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or 10+ years of equivalent professional experience).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in network operations and security, with demonstrated expertise in complex enterprise environments.
• CCNA certification mandatory; CCNP, CCIE, CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, or CEH highly desirable.
