SAP ABAP Developer (TM) - Technical Lead

This role requires deep technical knowledge of SAP Transportation Management (TM), integration with SAP ERP/S4HANA systems, and strong experience in ABAP and SAP technical frameworks.

• Develop, enhance and Lead technical design and development activities for SAP TM implementations
• Act as a central sparring partner within the technical team
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior consultants
• Control/improve quality of technical solutions within the technical team
• Develop custom objects using ABAP, OO-ABAP, BOPF, BADIs, Enhancements, User Exits
• Build and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications for TM processes
• Develop custom reports, forms (Adobe Forms/SmartForms), interfaces, and workflows
• Implement integration/interfaces of SAP TM with SAP ECC/ SAP/S4HANA, SAP eWM, SAP Event Management, external carrier systems via IDocs, RFC, Proxy, OData, REST, PI/PO, CPI
• Work with middleware technologies including SAP CPI and PI/PO
• Ensure seamless data exchange across logistics systems
• Perform performance optimization and troubleshooting
• Support cutover activities and hypercare
• Prepare technical documentation (FS/TS, design documents, test scripts)
• Participate in client workshops and requirement gathering sessions in close alignment with functional consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Transportation Management (TM) Technical Consultant to lead technical design, development, and integration efforts within SAP TM implementations and support projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SAP TM architecture, custom development, enhancements, integrations, and performance optimization across complex logistics environments., * 8+ years of SAP technical experience with atleast 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP TM technical development.

• Minimum 2-3 full lifecycle SAP TM implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in:

• ABAP, OO-ABAP
• BOPF framework
• BRF+
• PPF
• Enhancements & BADIs
• Web Services / OData

• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
