Job description
To support our Digital Transformation, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a 3DX Solution Architect (d/m/f), As a 3DX Solution Architect at Airbus Defence and Space, you will act as a technological visionary at the intersection of Engineering and IT. Within our team, you will shape the future of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) landscape based on the Dassault Systèmes 3DXplatform. You won't just design systems; you will actively drive the standardization and modernization of our digital processes to enable the most complex defense and space projects worldwide.
This position is also available with reduced weekly working hours and an adapted scope of tasks., * Strategic Vision: Act as a visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future IT Products & Services and validate product designs within the 3DX environment.
- Architecture Design: Define models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions and perform technical/functional design of application and infrastructure components.
- End-to-End Lifecycle: Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle - including research, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
- Business Alignment: Align architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long-term strategic planning for Information Systems.
- Transformation Leadership: Provide expertise on business processes, change management, and technology enablement to support Business Process Reengineering (BPR).
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification with profound experience in IT Architecture.
- Deep expertise in the 3DX platform (Dassault Systèmes) and its integration into complex system landscapes.
- Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, architects) to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Strong analytical skills to translate functional designs into technical and infrastructural solutions.
- Professional proficiency in English; German language skills are a significant advantage for collaborating at the Friedrichshafen site., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
