Job description
Within an advanced in-vehicle software engineering environment, you will contribute to the development of next-generation infotainment platforms and connected services embedded in modern vehicles. You will work at the intersection of user experience, embedded systems, and automotive constraints, helping deliver intuitive and reliable digital interfaces for drivers and passengers.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain user interfaces built with Flutter and Dart for in-car systems. Your focus will be on delivering responsive, high-performance, and accessible HMI solutions tailored to automotive use cases.
You will collaborate closely with UX and system teams to clarify requirements and translate them into robust software implementations. You will interface with backend and embedded teams to integrate vehicle data, media services, and connectivity features. Ensuring software quality is central to this role, including testing, debugging, and compliance with automotive standards and development practices.
Your Responsibilities Develop and maintain in-car user interfaces using Flutter and Dart. Collaborate with UX designers, backend, and embedded teams to deliver integrated HMI solutions. Implement responsive and high-performance user interfaces tailored to automotive environments. Participate in testing, debugging, and validation to ensure compliance with automotive standards. Contribute to software architecture discussions and ensure maintainable, high-quality code. Work within Agile/Scrum teams and follow structured development processes.
Requirements
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 1 year of experience developing front-end applications with Flutter. Comfortable working in Linux and embedded environments. Experience with languages such as C++, Rust, or Python. Familiar with structured development processes including requirements engineering, software design, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and collaboration tools such as GitHub/GitLab, Jira, Confluence, and requirements management platforms. Strong interest in automotive technologies, including vehicle architectures, in-vehicle networks, and infotainment ecosystems. Ability to work on-site in Brussels at least two days per week. Fluent in English. Valid Category B driving licence.
