Senior Azure Synapse Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Synapse Developer to join our business intelligence team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data solutions using Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern data warehousing, big data processing, and analytics platforms.

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Synapse
• Optimize query performance and troubleshoot complex data processing issues
• Collaborate with data architects to design efficient data models and storage strategies
• Work closely with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solution

Do you have experience in T-SQL?, Azure Synapse Analytics

• Proficiency in designing and implementing data pipelines using Synapse
• Knowledge of data integration patterns and ETL/ELT processes
• Knowledge of various data formats including JSON, Parquet

SQL Expertise

• Advanced T-SQL programming skills for complex query optimization and performance tuning
• Proficiency in writing stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers

API Integration

• Proficiency in consuming and designing REST APIs for data integration
• Experience with authentication methods (OAuth, API keys, service principals)

Data Engineering Fundamentals

• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts for both OLTP and OLAP systems
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for data platforms, including CI/CD pipelines
