Job description
Small businesses drive the economy. They build, hire, innovate and take risks. Yet when it comes to lending, decisions are still often slow, opaque and based on limited data. We built BridgeFund to change that. What takes weeks elsewhere happens here in seconds. A small business applies in three minutes and our models decide in one. No paperwork. No waiting. No human bottlenecks. Just smart technology making fair decisions, fast.
That approach helped us grow 74 percent last year, fund over 500 million euros in loans and move toward a profitable 2025. As we scale, the reliability, security and performance of our platform become even more critical. That is why we are expanding our engineering teams with someone who loves building clean services, solving technical puzzles and improving systems that thousands of entrepreneurs depend on.
"Our platform processes thousands of financial decisions every day. The services behind it must be fast, reliable and secure."
Your role as Full Stack Engineer
As a Full Stack Engineer at BridgeFund, you will help build and evolve the services that power our lending platform. From developing new microservices to improving existing ones, your work directly impacts how fast, secure and scalable our systems are.
You will join one of our engineering teams and contribute across the stack, working with technologies such as Node.js, Python and Go. Together with your teammates, you will design, build and deploy services that support critical parts of our platform.
You won't be working in isolation. Engineering at BridgeFund is highly collaborative. You take part in agile rituals, discuss ideas with other engineers and regularly connect with your Team Lead in 1:1s to review progress and development. Over time, you will also help modernise our landscape by retiring legacy components and improving scalability across our core services.
What your day to day will look like
- Design and build microservices that support BridgeFund's lending platform
- Develop backend functionality using Node.js, Python or Go
- Deploy and maintain services in a modern cloud environment

- Collaborate with engineers, architects and product teams to design technical solutions
- Contribute to improving our engineering standards and best practices
- Measure and improve system scalability and performance across core services
