Job description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to help transform how our engineers build software by designing and delivering AI-powered developer tooling. This is a highly strategic internal-facing role focused on accelerating software development, reducing friction across the SDLC, and driving adoption of AI-assisted development practices across the organization.
You will build intelligent tools, integrations, and workflows that enable engineers to move faster, ship safer code, and spend more time solving meaningful problems. Beyond building systems, you will act as an advocate and change agent-helping teams learn, trust, and effectively adopt AI-augmented development workflows. What You Will Be Doing
- Design and develop internal tools that leverage LLMs, automation, and machine learning to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review workflows.
- Build integrations with IDEs, source control platforms, CI/CD systems, internal developer portals, and knowledge platforms.
- Create reusable APIs, services, and SDKs that enable teams to embed AI capabilities into their own development workflows.
- Develop guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and quality controls for AI-generated code and outputs
- Identify bottlenecks across the software development lifecycle and design AI-driven solutions to reduce manual effort and context switching.
- Build automation that improves onboarding, knowledge discovery, service ownership, and codebase navigation.
- Develop intelligent assistants that help engineers understand systems, dependencies, and operational data.
- Act as a champion for AI-assisted development practices across the organization.
- Partner with engineering teams to pilot new tooling, gather feedback, and iterate rapidly.
- Educate teams through workshops, documentation, internal demos, and best practice guides.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend or full-stack development experience using languages such as Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, or similar.
- Experience building developer tooling, internal platforms, or automation systems.
- Hands-on experience integrating or building applications using modern LLMs or AI APIs.
- Strong understanding of software development workflows, CI/CD, and version control ecosystems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical teams.
Bonus Points
- Experience building AI-assisted coding tools, developer copilots, or intelligent automation systems.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, evaluation strategies, RAG architectures, or agent-based workflows.
- Experience working with IDE extensions, developer portals, or code intelligence platforms.
- Experience designing experimentation frameworks or telemetry for developer productivity tooling.
- Background in platform engineering, DevEx, or internal infrastructure tooling.
