Job description

  • Install server racks and perform hardware break-fix on various components
  • Troubleshoot network issues and respond to situations affecting operational stability
  • Provide dedicated supervision for Partner Cloud Providers and external vendors
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal customers (e.g., Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Operations) and external service partners (Partner Cloud Providers, Hardware Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers)
  • Manage assigned trouble tickets and meet SLAs through a directed workflow; act as the first point of contact for hardware and technical issues
  • Participate in on-call rotations and support scheduled maintenance and change management activities in the data center
  • Work in a 24/7 shift rotation, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call duties

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and technical degree or certifications in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Basic knowledge of computer and server hardware, network hardware, and operating systems
  • Experience troubleshooting server and network hardware
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordinating with Leads and Managers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of data center operations, including inventory management, hot/cold aisles, and physical security
  • Understanding of data center safety and security best practices
