IoT Software Engineer

• Analyze and implement software requirements for commercial IoT cloud services such as building management, maintenance, and subscription-based services.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based applications with strong hands-on contribution across front-end and back-end components.
• Build and extend platform functions and custom features for commercial HVAC and building systems.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for device management, data collection, monitoring, diagnostics, and subscriptions.
• Develop professional web user interfaces for facility managers and maintenance users using modern web technologies.
• Perform unit and integration testing, bug fixing, and support system validation (remote and onsite when required).
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem solving with internal teams and external partners.
• Analyze performance, scalability, and reliability, and continuously improve code quality and maintainability.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality services.
• Support integration with edge controllers, gateways, and field devices, considering IoT protocols, data models, and security constraints.

• 3+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on coding and testing.
• Practical experience in web application development across front-end and back-end layers.
• Experience with modern JavaScript / TypeScript development and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of server-side object-oriented languages such as Java or C#.
• Experience applying standard software engineering practices including unit testing and code reviews.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken, for international collaboration.
