As an Application Developer specializing in Java, you will create and test computer programs using the Java programming language. You will utilize your expertise in Java Object Oriented programming, systems development, distributed computing, and Linux development to deliver high-quality solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Develop Java Applications: Design, develop, and test Java-based applications, leveraging your knowledge of Java Object Oriented programming principles and core CS competencies such as data structures, algorithms, and software architectures. * Implement Web Technologies: Apply your experience with JSP/Servlets, web frameworks, and service-oriented architecture/web services (SOAP/REST) to build robust web applications, incorporating technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery. * Work with Data Formats: Utilize your understanding of markup languages like XML and JSON to effectively integrate and manipulate data within Java applications. * Collaborate on Solution Delivery: Participate in collaborative efforts to deliver comprehensive solutions, bringing your expertise in Java development to the table. * Troubleshoot and Optimize: Identify and resolve issues, optimizing Java applications for improved performance and reliability.
