Manager, SAP Project Management, SAP Delivery Services, Technology & Transformation

As a SAP Delivery Services - Project Management, Manager, your role will involve:

• Provide dedicated support to workstreams within SAP ERP Implementations / SAP-enabled transformation projects, demonstrating a proactive and eager approach to owning processes and learning.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders as directed, providing timely updates and escalating issues appropriately.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Proactively contribute to problem-solving efforts within the team, showing adaptability in responding to changing project needs.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of project management methodologies and their application within ERP implementations. Familiarity with SAP Activate or similar frameworks is desirable.
• Inspire and develop junior colleagues and support their professional development. Follow our Deloitte values and lead by example.
• Support the application of Project Management and SAP Best practices and standards across the project.
• Work within our Multi-Disciplinary Model, across different member firms, geographies, and service lines.
• Actively Participate in practice development activities that support sales and internal capability development.

This role will involve travel to client location depending on project requirements.

• Practical experience in SAP ERP implementation / SAP-enabled transformation programmes.
• Practical experience in Project management, including creating and managing project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and governance for large-scale ERP transformations.
• Proven track record in working in at least one of the workstreams within SAP Transformation Programme.
• Client facing experience with a demonstrated ability to appropriately engage with stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships.
• Practical understanding of at least one delivery methodologies (i.e. Activate, Waterfall, Agile, etc).
• Practical experience and understanding of at least a few phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and navigate sensitive situations with diplomacy.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Understanding of the any of the following Project Management Tools - Confluence, MS Project, MS Office.

Desirables:

• SAP Activate or equivalent Certification.
• PRINCE2 or equivalent.
