Embedded Software Engineer ( Medical Device

The company: Our client is a successful medical device company, developing and market innovative solutions around airway management and patient ventilation. They created new patient ventilation through a revolutionary multidisciplinary product that surprises the medical field. Due to the growing success, they are now expanding their R&D team with an experienced Embedded Software Engineer:

Your role:

• In close cooperation with engineer colleagues, product developer and their development partner, you will design, develop and test new functionalities and versions of their advanced patient ventilator system;

• You develop a software architecture and establish concepts for software designs; You are responsible for risk analysis from a multi disciplinary software perspective;

• Stay current with technologies, tools, and techniques to be taken into consideration for new developments;

• Based on market demands, you translate these into well-defined concepts and requirements, develop prototypes next to testing the new system;

• Deliver documentation that support requirements for medical devices

Self-motivated key member for further development of innovative solution healthcare patient ventilation. Region: HQ Eindhoven Netherlands, * Minimum Bachelor degree Computer Science, Embedded software, Electronics, or related field; Solid experience with C, C++ and/or Python;

• You are familiar with LINUX Version Control Systems, development and automated testing; Expertise in using simulation packages such as MATLAB;

• Previous success working in small teams, self-motivated and independently;

• Your analytically abilities are well developed with a can do mentality for innovation; Proficient in English language, both written and verbal;

• PRE is: familiar with configuration management and version tools, IEC 62304 Standard, ISO 13485, LINUX Kernel and proficient in Dutch
