Job description
I'm supporting a leading investment firm looking for an experienced macOS Support Engineer to provide front-line support for their first deployment of Apple devices across the business. This is a hands-on role supporting ~25 Macs initially, working independently within a well-established environment., You'll be the go-to macOS specialist, keeping devices running smoothly day-to-day: managing provisioning, handling support issues, onboarding users, deploying applications, and maintaining configuration standards. You'll work with Jamf Pro as the primary management tool and ensure consistent, secure, and reliable performance across the fleet., * Provide macOS support including troubleshooting, incident resolution, root-cause follow-up
- Deploy and maintain applications and packages via Jamf Pro
- Manage device provisioning, enrollment, and profiles (ABM + Jamf)
- Support user access and identity setup through Microsoft 365 + Azure AD
- Oversee onboarding/offboarding device workflows
- Maintain documentation on configurations, standards, and known issues
- Engage directly with end users in a technically proficient environment
Requirements
- 2-3 years' hands-on experience supporting macOS in an enterprise setting
- Strong, practical Jamf Pro experience (enrollment, deployment, profiles, policy admin)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD for macOS integration
- Confident operating independently within an established device estate
- Experience supporting technically proficient users
Knowledge & Skills

- Solid macOS troubleshooting skills

- Jamf 100 or 200 certification desirable

- Security-aware: familiar with endpoint controls and MDM compliance
