Job description

  • you will work closely with business data owners, analysts, and data scientists in cross-functional data product teams to implement data-driven solutions
  • you will support the implementation of our Azure-based data infrastructure in close collaboration with our data/platform architects.
  • develop modern data pipelines using common tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks
  • connect new (internal and external) data sources to our Azure Data Lake
  • monitor existing data pipelines and optimize their performance
  • contribute your own ideas and feel at home in a dynamic team Environment

Requirements

  • Master's degree in computer science or a comparable quantitative field
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience with the Azure Data Engineering Tech Stack or comparable technologies in AWS or GCP
  • Experience with Python and data science/machine learning-related libraries
  • Practical experience with Databricks is an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge of general software development, including DevOps and Git workflows
  • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with SAP BW is a plus
  • Very good written and spoken English skills; German skills are an advantage
  • A self-organized approach to work and a willingness to continuously develop yourself round off your profile
