Job description
At Avular we are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Test Engineer to strengthen our current team. You are a technical person that wants to ensure that everything our Engineers develop will be integrated and can and will be tested in the correct way. You will work with the System Architects and Project Manager to ensure a flawless transition from requirements and design to a well-defined test plan and integration of the different sub systems., You are able to spread the importance of system integration and testing. Therefor you will work with a lot of different people in the company and ensure that the development team is aligned on the integration and test process. As part of the team, you will be contributing mainly to
- Making integration plans and corresponding timelines for testing
- Creating test plans and dedicated test cases, covering the requirements
- Developing and finetuning production tests
- Applying various verification standards as FMEA, TRA's, DMAIC etc
- Executing tests (mainly on system level) and organizing everything around the tests
- Processing test results
- Aligning test plans with engineers and giving feedback on the results to them, Your data will be stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary to evaluate your application or comply with legal obligations. Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electrical Systems Engineering.
- At least 1-3 years of relevant professional integration and testing experience of multidisciplinary products.
- Affinity with mobile robots and autonomous systems.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive attitude and the ability to discuss and collaborate with engineers.
- Decent understanding of testing environments and tooling.
- Capable of processing data in Python/Matlab.
- Bonus: Worked or played with drones (flying drones), or RC cars.
- Bonus: Working with ISO standards and other standardized procedures.
- Bonus: Experience with EMC testing and software testing.
- Bonus: Experience with CE, and FCC certification.
- Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English.
