Enterprise Platform Lead

We are seeking an Enterprise Platform Lead to shape and enhance our core business technology ecosystem across finance, HR, procurement, marketing, partnerships, and more. This is a strategic, high?impact role where you will drive the roadmap, delivery, and performance of enterprise platforms that underpin business operations and digital employee experience.

Your Impact You will define the vision for enterprise platforms and lead cross?functional teams to deliver modern, secure, and user?centred solutions. You'll champion simplification, integration, automation, and data?driven decision?making while ensuring platforms continue to evolve with business needs.

What You Will Do

• Set strategic direction for the enterprise platform domain, aligning with broader digital and technology ambitions
• Lead the delivery and evolution of a multi?year roadmap covering applications, integrations, architecture, and continuous improvement
• Build and guide a right?sized platform team, combining permanent and interim expertise
• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand needs, prioritise value, and drive exceptional user experience
• Evaluate and implement technologies that enhance efficiency, compliance, data quality, and employee productivity
• Drive automation and identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce friction
• Ensure platforms are secure, resilient, compliant, and aligned with regulatory frameworks
• Prepare platforms for AI use?cases and support adoption of emerging digital capabilities
• Manage operational risk and maintain robust service models
• Promote outside?in thinking, bringing new ideas, innovations, and market trends into the organisation
• Champion continuous improvement across performance, security, cost?efficiency, and functionality
• Work closely with data stewards, architects, and cross?functional teams to ensure high?quality enterprise data

• Proven experience leading enterprise application or ERP programmes in complex organisations
• Strong ability to work iteratively with stakeholders to identify needs, shape solutions, and drive value
• Experience creating compelling presentations for senior audiences
• Ability to lead agile, cross?functional matrix teams and manage third?party partners
• Strong understanding of integration, modular architectures, and design?led approaches
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate competing priorities and create clarity
• Learning agility and willingness to roll up your sleeves in a hands?on environment

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Interest in life sciences is helpful but not required
