Senior Java Backend Engineer Billing Technology

• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions, including designing and implementing APIs and integrating with third-party services.
• Lead the technical design and architecture of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture and best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient and testable code, adhering to established coding standards and patterns.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance and adherence to design principles.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools and technologies.

• Several years of experience in Java and modern web development, including frameworks such as Spring Boot and Quarkus
• Proven ability to design, build, and maintain microservices and APIs
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform or other major cloud platforms, plus Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
• Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle); experience with message queues for event-driven architectures is a plus
