Senior Trading Engineer - SQL

My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Senior Trading Engineer - SQL for a 12 month contract based in Amsterdam requiring 5 days per week on-site.

The ideal candidate will have Expert-level SQL development and performance optimization, Strong understanding of relational data modelling, data layers, and lineage, Proven experience implementing complex risk or analytical logic in database-centric platforms, Ability to reason across data ingestion, transformation, API, and UI consumption layers, Strong system design skills spanning databases, services, and reporting interfaces, Experience owning production readiness and end-to-end solution delivery.

Desirably, the ideal candidate will have Experience with distributed large-scale operational databases, Familiarity with OpenSearch or search-based analytics patterns, Working knowledge of .NET Back End services and React/AG Grid-based frontends, Experience with SAP ODP, CTRMs, or enterprise data replication and Exposure to cloud-native architectures and AWS-based platforms.
