Job description
The experienced fullstack .NET developer (front-end and back-end) is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of .NET applications. You work closely with other developers, testers, business analysts, the Product Owner and the Scrum Master to deliver functionality in an iterative and incremental way. You play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of new features., * Design, develop and maintain .NET applications using C# and .NET Core.
- Translate functional analyses into technical designs and support the business analyst in validating the technical specifications of applications.
- Analyse and resolve technical issues: handle second-line bugs and provide technical support to colleagues.
- Continuously improve development processes and software quality; keep up to date with trends in technologies and methodologies in your field.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and unit tests to ensure a stable development, test and production environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Agile team in a SAFe environment, delivering software in an iterative and incremental way together with developers, testers, business analysts, Product Owner and Scrum Master.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team; prepare technical documentation and review documentation created by junior developers.
Requirements
Background
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a .NET developer.
- At least 3 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

About the company
Our end client is a dynamic public institution where more than 150 people work within the IT department. It is a bilingual (French/Dutch) environment with both French-speaking and Dutch-speaking stakeholders. The IT organisation works in an Agile way (Scrum methodology), and ten multidisciplinary development teams are currently in place. To strengthen these teams, we are looking for several experienced .NET Developers.
Each team consists of around ten people, with roles such as Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Developer, Test Analyst, Ops Engineer and Product Owner. Teams are composed of both French-speaking and Dutch-speaking colleagues.
