Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and technically skilled individual to join our IT Infrastructure Team as a Cloud Engineer. In this role you will:
- Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and sufficient capacity of IT services through Azure monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Design and implement Azure solutions that adhere to architectural principles, delivering security, scalability, and resilience.
- Embed 'security by design' principles and contribute to the Cyber Security roadmap.
- Develop solutions that uphold robust Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) standards.
- Provide support for cloud and on-premises infrastructure issues, managing incidents from identification to resolution.
- Configure and maintain cloud networking components, including Azure Virtual Networks, Subnets, and Azure Firewall.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Azure services, including VMs, Entra ID, Storage, Firewall, Networking, and Backup.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Defender, and Intune.
- Hands-on scripting skills using PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like ARM, Bicep or Terraform (preferred).
