AWS Cloud Platform Engineer - London

You will be joining a collaborative delivery team responsible for developing and maintaining secure, resilient AWS environments. The work will involve supporting platform engineering initiatives, implementing infrastructure as code, and helping ensure cloud environments are built and operated in line with modern security and compliance practices expected within financial services., * Design, build and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure to support critical financial services workloads

• Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices
• Contribute to platform reliability, scalability, and security across AWS environments
• Apply a secure-by-design mindset, embedding security considerations throughout the development and deployment life cycle
• Work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to improve CI/CD workflows and automation
• Support the ongoing evolution of cloud platform capabilities, tooling, and standards

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in production environments
• Proven experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
• A strong understanding of cloud security principles and secure architecture patterns
• Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services is beneficial
• Familiarity with Jenkins pipelines or similar CI/CD tooling would be advantageous
• Comfortable working in collaborative agile teams and contributing to platform engineering initiatives
