Design Engineer

We are currently looking for a Design Engineer in Spain.We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Design Engineer to join a fast-paced, exploratory AI research environment. In this role, you will prototype and implement novel user experiences at the intersection of AI-generated video, world models, and agentic systems. You will collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and product designers to translate cutting-edge AI research into tangible, interactive tools and experiences. The position offers the freedom to experiment, iterate quickly, and push the boundaries of what is possible in AI-driven creative workflows. • Prototyping and implementing novel user experiences for AI video, world models, and generative media applications.
• Designing and developing agentic tools and interfaces that allow users to interact with AI systems in real time.
• Exploring new application areas, from simulation and interactive media to research and creative tooling.
• Collaborating with researchers, engineers, and product designers to translate research insights into usable, high-value features.
• Creating internal frameworks and tools to support design and engineering teams.
• Stretching the boundaries of front-end engineering to broaden possibilities in exploratory and experimental contexts.
• Conducting usability testing and iterating on designs to ensure meaningful and intuitive user interactions.

Requirements:The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of design expertise, technical skills, and curiosity about AI-driven systems:

• Proven experience designing flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UIs for web or agentic products.
• Hands-on experience building agentic tools or interfaces where AI takes actions, reasons over state, or drives multi-step workflows.
• Strong understanding of visual and interaction design principles, as well as usability testing methodologies.
• Curiosity and familiarity with AI video, world models, agentic engineering, and generative media.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, research-oriented environments where problem spaces are evolving.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work closely with interdisciplinary teams.
• Motivated self-starter with a passion for experimentation, iteration, and delivering high-impact design solutions.
