Automate operational and provisioning tasks using Ansible, AWX, PowerShell and related tooling

Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines used for infrastructure and platform changes

Drive standardization and automation to reduce manual effort and risk
Reliability, Security & Operations
-
Ensure high availability and reliability of customer platforms in Private Cloud, Azure and hybrid environments
-
Monitor, analyze and improve system performance, security and stability using observability tools such as Zabbix, Azure Monitoring, Azure Advisor.

Securing cloud environments with MDE & MDC, driving Azure Secure Score improvements, and leveraging Defender XDR for advanced threat detection and response.
Continuity & Recovery

Take end to end ownership of continuity and recoverability for customer environments

Design, implement and test backup, restore and disaster recovery solutions
Collaboration & Ownership

Act as a trusted technical partner for customers

Work closely with fellow Team Infrastructure & Cloud Operations engineers

Share knowledge, mentor colleagues and contribute to team maturity

Participate in on call rotations and act as an escalation point for complex incidents

Lead or contribute to post incident reviews and implement structural improvements

Take ownership beyond tickets - you build it, run it and improve it

Mentorship: Guide and support junior engineers, sharing expertise and promoting a culture of excellence.

People: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system, administrators, Service Managers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services for our customers. Your ability to communicate effectively and mentor junior team members will be essential in fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.

Technology: Your in-depth understanding of cloud architecture and Azure's capabilities will be instrumental in troubleshooting, managing, maintaining, migrating, and optimizing workloads for robust landing zones and other cloud infrastructure components for our customers to streamline project workflows and ensure the reliability and scalability of our customers' cloud environments.

Requirements
Here is what you will need:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience with Microsoft Azure fundamentals and Associate Certified

What You Bring Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services
- Strong Experience with Azure Public Cloud
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Landing Zones and automated deployments
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure or platform changes
- Scripting experience, preferably PowerShell, Bicep & Python
- Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible & AWX
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, e.g. Zabbix, Azure Monitor, etc.
- Solid knowledge of high availability, backup and disaster recovery concepts
- Familiarity with SRE concepts such as reliability metrics, incident learning and continuous improvement
