Integration Architect

We are looking for a pragmatic Contract Architect to conduct a root and branch review of a complex technology estate for a major UK business operating in the automotive and financial services sector.

The environment supports a lending and portfolio management platform and includes a mixture of financial systems, CRM platforms, marketing tools and 20 to 30 third party integrations.

Over time the estate has become fragmented, poorly documented and operationally risky. The goal of this engagement is to understand the current architecture, identify risks and define a clear path forward.

This role is about analysis, clarity and recommendations, not hands on engineering.

What you will be doing

Conduct a full architecture review of the current technology estate Map API integrations, data flows and system dependencies Assess technical and operational risk across multiple platforms Identify quick wins that improve stability and reduce complexity Document the current state architecture landscape Provide clear recommendations for stabilisation and future investment

Strong experience with integration heavy environments Deep understanding of APIs, system integrations and data flows Experience working in financial services, lending or portfolio platforms highly valuable Comfortable navigating complex environments with limited documentation Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
