Job description

You will play a key role in building and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform, enabling development teams to deliver secure, scalable and reliable services.

Working within an agile engineering environment, you will focus on automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and platform reliability, helping teams ship production-ready systems while maintaining strong operational standards.

You will collaborate closely with developers, architects and platform engineers to improve deployment pipelines, optimise cloud environments and ensure best practices across infrastructure and security., * Design, build and maintain GCP-based infrastructure and cloud platforms

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated delivery
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using modern tooling
  • Support containerised workloads and orchestration platforms
  • Improve platform reliability, observability and monitoring
  • Automate operational processes and environment provisioning
  • Work with development teams to optimise deployment and cloud architecture

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with Google Cloud Platform
  • Solid DevOps background across cloud infrastructure, automation and CI/CD
  • Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Experience with Kubernetes/GKE and containerised environments
  • CI/CD pipeline development using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins
  • Scripting experience with Python, Bash or similar
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging and observability tooling
  • Strong Linux/cloud infrastructure experience

Desirable

  • Experience with Docker and container platform engineering
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
  • Experience supporting microservices architectures
  • Exposure to platform engineering or SRE practices
  • Experience working within consultancy or delivery-focused environments
